The Normal Tarot
This totally original 99-card tarot deck was designed by the Caretaker of Normal Horoscopes fame. With a reimagined major arcana with kings and moons, books and maidens, no piece of this deck is your standard Rider-Waite. Each suit follows a season and carries a standard 1-10, as well as three knights and three ladies.
In its First Edition, the deck featured art by Amy Smith in a clean black and white pen style, with silver gilded edging.
In its Second Editions, the deck was reimagined twice over. First, Amy Smith darkened her original deck and included silver foil details.
Second, Sam Dow created an entirely new take with gold foil details.
In its Third and final Edition, the deck was reimagined in full color by Ezra Kimbell on beautiful and effervescent illustrations.

The First Edition
Illustrated by Amy Smith, this was the original, black and white deck with silver edged cards. The Caretaker has noted that this is the truest to the original designs.

For our Second Edition, Amy updated the original’s art to be darker so new silver foil accents would pop from the card’s surface.
The Second Edition, Gold
Illustrated by Sam Dow with a totally new take on the deck, gold foil shines from the glossy surface of each card, offering new interpretations of the Caretaker’s cards.
The Third Edition
Illustrated by Ezra Kimbell in full color, this final edition of the Normal Tarot takes one final look at the archetypes and powers available in this unique take on the tarot.
